Google Chrome OS to be published end of 2010
The new Linux operating system from Google has got a fairly exact release date and will be published in fourth quarter of 2010. This was announced by Sundar Pichai, Google’s vice president for product management, at Computex Taipei. We are working on bringing the device later this fall. Google Chrome is a web browser developed by Google which is available since September 2nd, 2008. Central concept is the partitioning of the browser window into Tabs. Google Chrome is based on the rendering engine WebKit which derives from the KDE project Konqueror. It’s also used in Apple’s browser Safari.
