According to StatCounter, the wellknown free website analytics company, Googles Browser Chrome 15 has become the most popular web browser version worldwide. StatCounter announced that Chrome 15 reached 23.6% of the worldwide browser market and passed Microsofts IE (Internet Explorer) 8 at 23.5%. This stats refer to the individual browser version. All versions aggregated would still show IE leading the global market, Chromes resides at the second position, just having overtaken Firefox in November.
